Privacy policy

Draft for legal review. This policy describes how PLOPLAN intends to handle information. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel and should not be relied on as a final statement of legal obligations.

1. What we collect

When you use PLOPLAN we collect the information needed to print and deliver your order:

Contact details you provide: name, email address, phone number, and company.
Delivery details: project name, jobsite address, on-site contact, and delivery instructions.
Uploaded files: the PDF drawing sets you submit, their file names, sizes, and page counts.
Order details: sheet sizes, quantities, finishing, delivery selections, and pricing.
Account details if you create an account, and technical information such as browser type and approximate location derived from your IP address.

2. How we use uploaded drawings

Uploaded drawings are used only to process the services you request (printing, revision handling, and delivery) and to operate the platform, for example to detect page counts, prepare print files, and troubleshoot problems with your order. We do not sell, license, or share your drawings with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use them to train machine-learning models.

Drawings are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Access inside the application requires either your account session or a short-lived signed link generated for your order. Our operations staff may open a file to fulfil your order.

3. How we use other information

To create, price, print, and deliver your orders and to send confirmations and delivery updates.
To manage your account, saved projects, and jobsites.
To respond to support requests and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
To improve the service, using aggregated or de-identified usage data.

4. Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate PLOPLAN, including cloud hosting and database services, email delivery, payment processing (when enabled), and courier partners who receive the delivery address and on-site contact for your order. Providers may process information only to perform services for us.

5. Retention

Retention periods for uploaded drawings and order records are to be confirmed during legal review. Until then, files remain available to support reorders and revision printing, and you may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your choices

You can update account information from your dashboard.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing hello@ploplan.com.
Transactional emails (upload and order confirmations) are part of the service; marketing emails, if any, include an unsubscribe link.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, private storage, row-level access controls, and least-privilege server credentials. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

PLOPLAN is a business service and is not directed to children under 16.
